RICO

Just a little update, since it's season of giving, and also I've been very good this year. My Christmas came a week early.

I've always wanted a dog. So when we started to discussing about getting one last month, I hit up google and research all about different breeds. We decided on a hybrid dog, maltese and a shih-tzu. I absolutely love RICO, it's been a dream and a nightmare. I say this cuz' he's just adorable! However, I've lost alot of sleep time! It's really like taking care of a baby.

He travel a whole lot to get to us, but he's one healthy boy! <3

So tiny and a bit stress when we got him from the airport cargo area. I got a bit excited when the BF told me Rico was all set to be shipped out. I began to panic buy at petsmart. >_<
I've tried to take him everywhere. I'm amazed how long he could hold his potty when he's on my lap sleeping. Even in my tote bag he's a good dog, now if i could just deal with the biting.

Beside breaking bank on my new baby, i've been breaking on christmas shopping. I have yet to shop for myself! I really think my family will like their gifts this season. :)

bad blaaaagger

I haven't done much beauty buying. I've been BORING. Just hitting up the regular spots, seeing friends off to college and also celebrating lots and lots of birthdays! Mine especially. eh! Although it has been boring in my state of mine, it has been really fun. My skin has been looking a bit dull. I can't pin-point the reason, but it may be the late nights i've been putting in. Ugh.

Well lets move to some visuals.
Dinner at bonefish. Whoot! Before dinner I went to King Sauna at palisade, and I must say it's great. Its something you have to go back and try and try again. However it did feel a bit awkward seeing another people and letting them see you bare, but you get over it.

So i must confess, I've been a windows user since i knew computers existed. I am now a mac user all the way. WEEEEE. I absolute love it. It just really works. Windows has alot of clicking and bs, but with mac its just simple as dragging and dropping. I do find it frustrating that some programs don't work well with the mac, but it's programs i could live with out.
I did hit some hurdles while I was purchasing it. I've decided a lot times that I'm getting one. When every I went to the store I would hit a wall. Either they didn't have it in stock or someone will talk me out of the ledge or really bad customer service. It really irks me when i received poor customer services. So the day I got it I got the worst services ever. The BF and I headed to the store and wanted to grab and go. It took us an hour just to get the box. I understand that you have customers and the associates are short handed. As associates you have to know which is a short sell or a BS one.

I'm ranting.

I'm still thinking of a name my new toy. LOL

major august haul

It's AUGUST and well it's also MY MONTH.

So I went over to EDM site and started to browse. I haven't bought the full sizes of the bases. The last order I did was mainly brushes, which I really love. Took advantage of ordering the sample kit 5 months ago. That's where I found my concealer. HONEST, I lived by their concealer. It really does what it's suppose to do. When I went on my trip I was running out. I told myself that I'll set and order ASAP, however, I got back and got a cream concealer from Sonia Kashuk at target. I melted on my skin or perhaps absorbed. So this time I order full sized of the base and the concealer I really like. I also got another sample set. EDM also sent me sample of their eyeshadow ( I forgot what collection it is).



How cute is their packaging. I don't know if they are coincidence but the sample sizes ended up very color coordinate. Pink ones are concealer, blue are the base and blush. I also got two eye shadow brushes, not all that excited about it, but it does the job.



The major haul is really the paul and joe line. I headed over to bergdorf to see their fall collection. I went overboard. >_<. The main purpose of the visit was to get compact foundation, and maybe a lipstick from the fall collection. Which I did get and then some. LOL. So I got primer, the fluid foundation, and another lip gloss. They also gave me a cosmetic bag and some samples of their skincare for the purchase. So my lipstick matches my cosmetic bag. YES! :) I'm one happy camper.


I am absolutely in LOVE with the fluid foundation, especially the fact that I'm more tan now and covers me flawlessly. It doesn't feel cakey no matter how much I pack on. I'm still getting use to using this kind of foundation. When I have the time in the morning, I would spend 5 more mins on "caking" it on my face. Other than that I'm on that compact or the EDM flat! The primer helps alot it makes everything stay PUT!

Whos royce'?

Ate det just came from PI and she got some royce chocolate. i cant thank her enough! ive been trying to get my hands on them since i heard about. actually my trip to guam was to make sure i got some at narita. sadly they didnt have them, plus i didnt have the chance to roam around airport. ate det is my bf sister she here for the summer or more :) . ive missed her so much! so whats the fuss about the chocolate. well all i coild tell you get your hand on them ASAP! im not much of a chocolate eater but yes these are my grand master of all chocolate. the cocoa powder covers your plalete and chocolate melts in your mouth. absolute heaven in your mouth. i wish they have them here in nyc.

food obsession

I've fallen guilty with french macaroons. I absolutely love it. I've known about french macaroon since the big explosion in France. I've just haven't tried them till last week. They aren't the same as the usual macaroons you see with coconut and chocolate topping. French macaroons are meringue mixture cookies smashed together with ganache or buttercream. nice and hard on the outside and chewy inside. HEAVEN!

Alive and kicking

I've been running around the interweb that i forgot i have blog. i jump for facebook to twitter and the vice versa. july has taken a toll on my bank. i really thought that june would do it, july was it. too many summer activities and birthdays!!! i finally hit up the lush store. ilove it. i got a present for my friend whos having dinnner tonight. i admit im bad gift giver. really!!! i dont have right gene or something. i always get the wrong gift idea to gift. perhaps she'll like it. although im keeping ocean salt. the sale lady did a number on me to give it a try. kay back work!!

mobile blog

Im testing out the mobile blogging. lol ive been trying for 2 days now. during work. not good. busy with all sorts of events. thank goodness we have a 3 day weekend. wooot!! it also my younger brother bday onthe 4 and everyone gets to celebrate it.

The BF and I headed to ULTA this afternoon. He really didn't wanted to stay in the store with me so he waited in the car, and i rushed to get the essential.
I was really running low on my olay complete lotion.

Olay complete lotion (combination/oily), o.p.i rapidry, and too faced shadow insurance.

I actually been wanting to try the too faced shadow insurance, since I really don't have a primer for my shadows. by 12 pm I notice my shadow has disappeared or run down. I would re-touch them or just get rid of it and apply my eyeliner. The routine works well, but i hope i wouldn't do much of that with the primer now. ^_^ It's one expensive shit, tho! 17 bucks! >_<

I also took a long bath (I have not taken and bath since my trip to guam. Poor water pressure at my house.). I think it would help me fall asleep faster. bwaahaha. While I wait for my hair to dry, I did my nails.

How ironic! Room service is what I need in my room right now. lol. I tried the rapid dry, and it really works. I usually won't do my nails before i go to bed. My hair would leave marks all over the polish. I sprayed it on and within 5 mins they feel dry. Well we'll see tomorrow morning if there are marks.

I just got back from Guam. I've missed it so much and still missing it. I finally got to go after 5 years. Actually 9 years. If I don't count my 3 days stop over back it 2004. LOL! I returned to where my childhood had been. I still could feel my father whistling over to get me home. My neighbors always welcoming.

He took me out to Korean bbq and Jamaican Grill. OHHH the FOOOD I ate. soooo yummy and missing.

I actually got one of the locks, I told the BF that we have to go back and place it there. I know I'm the silly one in the relationship.

I also got to meet one of our beauty blogger. Shantee. She's very pretty, friendly, and funny. I also got some great tips from her! She also took me to DFS, I drool at the paul and joe counter. lol.
I also went back to DFS and got me a Marc Jacobs bag. I've been itching to purchase MJ bag since. They were having a 30% off on selected styles. The bag I wanted wasn't on sale but I did settle with another bag.

I LOVE IT!

Shantee with her favorite C2 drink. She absolutely loves it! I love the Assam black tea, which i can't find here in jersey. >_<

I finally got myself a new doctor.
OH HOW GREAT!
I didn't really like my first doctor. I set an appointment for 2. He does not see me until 5! Seriously. I get it, the doctor also see patients without appointments, which causes back-up. I just didn't see the worth on waiting 2 or 3 hours with an appointment and to just be asset for 10 or 20 minutes. Getting germ up in the waiting room, since I'm there for a really long time.
The BF told me I should just go see his doctor. I made an appointment. I got to the office, made me fill out and sign papers. 10 mins later I'm in the room waiting for the doctor. She was very calming, friendly, and informative.

+ walking distance from work
+ no wait time
+ doesn't really want to drug you up
-its in the city
-doesn't want to give me the hard drugs, cuz i'm still young. WTF!

I'm glad that I finally did it.

MTV movie awards is on, and I want to see the New Moon clip. YUP I saw twilight twice this weekend, since there wasn't anything great on TV. Also I'm such a Robert Pattinson fan that i'm watching his HARRY POTTER role. OHH HE JUST won best fight. ahhhhhhh! <333333

the cullen's day at the beach.

On friday, I got out of work as soon as I finished. So glad they let us leave at 3. I actually left around 3:30ish. Hang out with Janella at forever21, which is 5 minutes away from work. I love f21 34th but also I hate it, cuz it is so crowded. Then we got some grub at 32nd K-town.


Mico text me saying that he has a job interview at 9pm, asked if I wanted to come. I having nothing to do and the BF still at home because he took the day off. (usually we take the train together after work. I know, we're attached to the hips.) Mico picked me up and we zoomed with his SABB <3. I got to drive the sabb to pick up Paul, now I want one. I felt soooo great behind those wheel. It really felt like I was flying, well the Sabb was engined/designed with a pilot or airplan feel. Waited for his friends and then we headed to seabright. I didn't know or even knew where seabright was untill we got there. I was there once like 5 years ago. I can't believed we were there with mico too 5 years ago. We got there around 1 or 2am (i didn't bother to look at the time). It was pretty late. A very beautiful night. I kept telling paul it was the cullen's day at the beach. We took a lot of pictures.

We got home around 6am, and just fell in to bed. Slept the whole day. I was done, period.
On sunday Paul and I finally got out and saw Star Trek. My oh My the movie was great. I think I'll be watching it again. You all must watch it. Zachary Quinto is hooooottttt. I couldn't get enough of him.

Today, we watched the marathons that were on TV. I think there was CSI: NY, Law and order, and Jon and Kate plus eight. I just actually finished the J&K+8 season 5 openner. We all know what is happening with the family. How unfortunate, but they are trying. Thats why I watch it. They are great. I believed that they are really fortunate to have the show, but it's also their downfall, but that's what reality TV does to you.

I'll be in Guam in two weeks. I can't wait! whooot. I have to get my suitcase out and pack. I was planning to take that suitcase out early for Cancun, but I decided not to go. Good thing, cuz Swine flu. I just made a draft of my list to bring. I wonder what I could do there. I know what my mother will be doing, I'm traveling with her. I'm going to help her out with the house that we have over there. I need to see the doctor too, get myself medicated for the flight over. It's a 18 hr flight to tokyo and then another 4 or 3 hours to guam. Let see what medication he'll give me, or I could take a bottle of patron. LOL.

Been so busy this week. Well just a bit. Hanging with the Bf and BFFs!
I don't know if it's allergies, but my eyes are really acting up. They really get irritated quickly. As a contact wearer, IT SUCKS! I actually left my good friend birthday party cuz I couldn't take it any more. I went home place my eyes on ice and swore off contacts for 2 days. I'm not used to wearing glasses, so 2 days was hell. It's still sensitive, but I really tried to not touch my eyes and take caution with my contact lens care.

I was also doggie sitting for a day.=) I wish I took pictures of me and pete. I'm going to have him for 3 days since fungy is going to be out of town to Houston. I love pete!

I finally got me some MAC! I actually just wanted lipstick, I ended up with HK powder (tahitian sand, eye shadow palette (too dolly), lip conditioner (popster) and lipstick (cute-ster). I hit up Mac twice this week. I got the powder first, but wasn't satisfied with my purchase of one lipstick so I went back to the mother ship of macy. They actually still have a bit of the HK collection to my surprise so I went and grab it . I know I'm a bit late on the HK bandwagon . :p I'm trying to get doubles now, since it's sooo cute.

I need to hit that Paul and Joe counter again. I'm in love with the lipstick i got. I'm planning to make a collection. I'm not a fan of lipstick, but their lipsticks are great! Goes on smooth, but then again I got one that matches my lips shade. Perhaps if i get something brighter.

Didn't really finished any of the shows I loaded up on. The speeches wasn't as long as I expected. Also I was watching the Tudors, and skins, may not be as appropriated for the venue. I kept thinking there were kids behind me.
