It's strange. I've just been itching to start a new hobby.
Since the last post, I've been busy on school and Rico Blanco. I've transferred to a new school and changed my major. Rico is a blast. I absolute can't wait to take him out on doggie play dates, or walk him to my favorite parks during the warmer months.
School is OK so far. I did get Saturday classes, even though I told myself I will never do it again. I really just wanna finish already.
UPDATE DONE.
Moving along, the hobbies.
OK, I've been working in midtown for over 2 years now. I work between some really awesome bead/stone jewelry shops. When I go out for lunch I past the display windows of either strings of beads or stones, or ready made jewelry. I say to myself, 'hey i could do this'. So I head into one of those stores and I find myself overwhelmed. Maybe Jewelry isn't it, just yet.
My BF is trying to get into FIT, so he could get into designing men wear. In turns has been feeding my mind with stitching, sketching, fabrics, patterns, and sowing. I've been to B&N and looked at all them sewing books, and I really want to get back into it. My mother made all my dresses in grade school. While my schoolmates were buying from dept stores I was wearing my mother's label :p . I would also make my barbie some gowns and pants before, then I got scolded for using fabrics I wasn't suppose to. After that I didn't play with sewing machine. I do know some basic.
The other hobby is creating stamps or collecting them. I just love them. Making them even more personal is pretty awesome!
I have to chose one soon. I can't keep watching them Asian dramas. I've grown desperate and began watching the pinoy ones too. Not that they are bad, but I'm getting bored with the japanese, and the koreans ones. Perhaps it's really the just reading the subs or waiting for the subs to get out. I've been spoil with dramas that gets subs out the next day.
I'm going put rico to bed now.
